Commander-in-Chief reported on the success of Ukrainian troops in Donetsk region
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the Ukrainian military continue counter-offensive actions in the area of Dobropillya, Donetsk region. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to improve their positions and push back Russian troops in several areas of the frontline.
Advance of Ukrainian troops
Syrsky noted that Ukrainian units are conducting systematic assault operations, gradually driving the enemy out of their fortified positions. The counter-offensive is being carried out in difficult conditions of constant shelling and mining, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces retain the initiative.
The situation in Donetsk region
The Dobropillia area remains one of the key areas for both sides. Russian troops are trying to maintain control over the logistics routes, but the Ukrainian army is increasing the pressure step by step.
