State Ecological Inspection official detained with over 46 million in cash - Prosecutor General's Office

Law enforcement officers exposed an official of the State Environmental Inspectorate on illicit enrichment.
During the searches, they seized from her over UAH 46 million in cash, The company's main assets are jewellery, luxury cars and real estate.

According to Office of the Prosecutor General, the official's assets exceed her official income by more than UAH 50 million.

«Among the items purchased were an apartment of more than 100 m² and a premium car registered in the name of a close relative,» the prosecutor's office said.

Suspicion and preventive measures

For women. a notice of suspicion has been served in illicit enrichment (Article 368-5 of the CCU).
The court sentenced her to Pre-trial restraint - custody with bail set at UAH 30 million.
