Mini-market destroyed and residential buildings damaged in Brovary after enemy attack

As a result of another Russian drone attack at night Brovary in the Kyiv region were heavily damaged. According to the city authorities, the strike caused a large-scale fire in the residential sector.

As a result of the explosion the mini-market was completely destroyed, more three multi-storey buildings were severely damaged - broken windows, chopped facades, damaged balconies.
In addition, two cars were destroyed and two more damaged, as well as four food stalls were destroyed, located near the impact site.

Consequences and reaction of the authorities

Rescuers quickly contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to residential floors.

«Fortunately, no one was injured. People went down to the shelters in time. However, the damage is significant - especially in the private sector», the city administration said.

Utilities are already working on site, restoring glazing and clearing the area. Residents of the damaged buildings are being provided with temporary accommodation and humanitarian support.

Context.

The nighttime attack was part of a massive shelling of Kyiv region, when Russian drones attacked several settlements at once. Air defence forces shot down most of the targets, but the debris caused localised fires and destruction in residential areas.
