Winterland opens at VDNKh this Saturday«

Festive start of the season

This Saturday, VDNH traditionally opens Winterland, a large-scale seasonal holiday space for children and adults. The territory will turn into a winter town with attractions, installations, entertainment and themed zones.

Main locations

The ice rink is 3000 m².
The large ice arena will feature a New Year's train and a fairy-tale tower right in the middle of the ice.

ILLUMINARIUM by Lumiere.
A park of light installations will be launched next to the Orangery:
- over 200 light shapes,
- 20-metre tunnel,
- a huge gnome residence,
- 12-metre Christmas tree,
- a giant magic hat, quests, face painting and animators.

Char Greenhouse.
A warm artistic and winter space: photo zones, quests, a reading corner and the opportunity to write a letter to St Nicholas.

Noiseland.
An area with dinosaurs, rides, trampolines and Mrs Santa's residence.

Christmas Dream Factory.
Visitors will be able to meet St Nicholas and create their own Christmas tree balls.

Attractions.
There will be a winter slide, a Ferris wheel, a carousel and extreme rides.

SPOT ActiVe Park (pavilion 7).
Skateboarding, trick scooters, BMX and rollerblading are for those who want to have an active winter holiday.

Science museums.
«The Museum of Science and Cuboid will traditionally be open for everyone who loves experiments and learning.

Fair, food court and additional events

The Christmas fair, food court and Tepla Alley will offer festive dishes and Instagram photo zones.
And with the 7 December an updated Santa's residence and the New Year's show starts in the first pavilion.
