Local Telegram channels report that the motorcade Angelina Jolie was stopped at one of the checkpoints on the way to Kherson. According to eyewitnesses, one of the cars was occupied by the actress's bodyguard, who did not have any documents. He was taken to the local territorial recruitment centre (TCC).

According to witnesses, the guard tried to explain to the National Guard that he was accompanying an «important person - a peacekeeper», but the military replied that everyone without documents was taken to the TCC for identity checks.

Later, the situation became publicised - according to media reports, Angelina Jolie personally arrived at the TCC to fire her employee. According to sources, local authorities intervened in the process and the President's Office was also contacted.

After the circumstances were clarified, the security guard was released. Jolie herself, according to eyewitnesses, was later seen in Kherson, where she was heading as part of a humanitarian mission.

It is also reported that during the visit, the head of the Kherson MBA presented Angelina Jolie with a commemorative coin «Kherson» as a sign of gratitude for her support of Ukraine.
