Massive UAV attack in Kharkiv region: 13 people injured, shop destroyed
In the evening, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on the town of Barvinkove in Kharkiv region.
According to preliminary reports, 13 people were injured in the strike. Information about their condition is being clarified.
Destruction and fire
The two-storey store building was completely destroyed. A large-scale fire broke out on the site, covering more than 1,500 square metres.
Damage was also reported to multi-storey residential buildings, garages and private vehicles near the epicentre of the impact.
The work of rescuers
The SES units have completed clearing the rubble at the site of the attack and eliminating the main consequences of the fire. Emergency services, medics and law enforcement officers were working at the site.
Context.
The Kharkiv region is regularly targeted by Russian drones and missiles. The attacks have targeted civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, resulting in civilian injuries and significant destruction.
