Attack in Sumy region: a rescuer is wounded, a SES unit and residential buildings are damaged
Last night, Sumy region came under massive attack again. In the Shostka district, a strike on one of the settlements damaged the building and equipment of the local fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service.
One rescuer was injured. The preliminary diagnosis is acubarotrauma. He was hospitalised in a medical facility, his condition is being checked.
In another settlement in the area, a Russian attack UAV caused a fire in a non-residential building. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighbouring buildings.
In Sumy, the SES examined the site of another hit. Damage was recorded in two areas at once - in a residential area and in a non-residential building. Information about possible victims is being clarified.
The attacks continued throughout the night. Rescue services continue to work at the scene.
