Deferments from mobilisation will be extended automatically - without re-submitting documents

MPs reported that the government had approved automatic extension of deferrals from mobilisation for all categories that have legal grounds for this.

It is a mechanism that will work through Unified state register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists.

Who it concerns

In particular, they will receive an automatic extension:

• guardians and trustees;

• people who care for people with disabilities or serious illnesses;

• citizens who already have a valid legal basis for deferral;

• other categories defined by law.

Now such people no need to re-submit documents, The data will be confirmed through state registers, and you will not need to visit institutions or undergo additional checks.

Why we did it

According to the parliamentarians, the goal of the reform is to

• reduce bureaucracy;

• remove the “human factor”;

• avoid repeated queues and duplication of documents;

• Ensure the speed and transparency of confirming the right to deferral.

The mechanism has already been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and will come into force after technical implementation.
