UK allocates £20 million to restore and protect Ukraine's energy sector
The United Kingdom allocates £20 million (approx. $26.9 million) to repair, restore, protect and produce energy in Ukraine. This is stated in an official statement by the British government.
The funds will be used to support the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, which is regularly attacked by the Russian Federation.

According to the UK government, the funding will be used to:
repairing damaged power facilities;
restoration of electricity generation capacities;
