UK hands over two Toyota Land Cruiser armoured off-road vehicles to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The UK has donated two Toyota Land Cruiser 200 armoured off-road vehicles to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as part of its humanitarian aid.

What is the equipment designed for
The vehicles have a high degree of armour protection and are designed to perform missions in high-risk areas, including frontline areas that are regularly shelled.
The SES notes that the new equipment will allow rescuers to work more safely during the aftermath of attacks, evacuate civilians and respond to emergencies.
Statement by the SES leadership
Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andriy Danik thanked the British partners for their support of Ukraine.
«We are sincerely grateful to our international partners for their help and unwavering support in these extremely difficult times for Ukraine. The equipment we have received is not just transport, it is additional protection for our people,» he stressed.
The UK's position
In his turn, the British Ambassador to Ukraine Neil Crompton expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian rescuers for their professionalism, dedication and resilience in the face of war.

The UK remains one of Ukraine's key partners, providing military, humanitarian and technical assistance. Support to the SES is an important part of protecting civilians and responding to the consequences of Russian shelling.
