UK to build new ammunition plants to increase combat readiness
The United Kingdom has announced a large-scale expansion of its defence production capacity. As reported by Reuters, Minister of Defence of the country John Healy intends to announce plans for construction new plants for the production of ammunition, explosives, fuel and pyrotechnics.
The government has already identified at least 13 potential locations, The first plant will be located in the city of Kryvyi Rih, where defence companies can be located. The development of engineering design documentation for the first plant is already underway.
Construction starts next year.
