Killer of four policemen identified in Cherkasy region
The person involved in the murder of four police officers in Cherkasy region has been identified. According to the head of the Cherkasy regional police Oleg Gudyma, The suspect is 59-year-old ex-soldier.
How the events unfolded
According to the police, it all started with a report from a local deputy about two attempts on him. Law enforcement officers identified the possible perpetrator and sent an investigative team for his detention.
During the attempted arrest, the suspect tried to escape, left the apartment and hiding in a forest area, where he opened fire on law enforcement officers. As a result. four policemen were killed.
