Drone attack in Chernihiv region: educational centre and residential buildings damaged
At night, Russian drones struck Chernihiv region, causing serious damage to civilian infrastructure. Two drones hit a building in Koryukivka Centre for Children and Youth Creativity. After the impact, a fire broke out, damaging neighbouring high-rise buildings, smashing windows and destroying parts of the facades. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire, and information about possible victims is being clarified.
Damage to houses after the attack
In Chernihiv, another drone hit a dacha estate, damaging a private house. Rescue services and utilities are working at the scene to assess the extent of the damage.
In total, over the day, the following was recorded in the region 13 attacks and 23 explosions. The attacks continued in both border communities and central areas, leaving destruction and danger to civilians.
