He was beating mobilised people and filmed it: SBI serves notice of suspicion to Kyiv region TCC employee
State Bureau of Investigation reported a suspicion an employee of the Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support of Kyiv Region, who, according to the investigation, kicking the mobilised people and making video clips of these moments.
We are talking about Head of the Civil-Military Cooperation Group of the CCC in the city Bila Tserkva. Official detained and announced suspicion of abuse of power under martial law.
What the investigation found
According to the SBI, the suspect:
applied physical violence to the mobilised;
recorded the beatings on video;
created video cuts from episodes of bullying.
Such actions are qualified as serious offence, committed by an official using his/her official position during martial law.
Punishment.
If found guilty, the official faces up to 12 years' imprisonment with possible disqualification from holding certain positions.
Context.
Law enforcement agencies emphasise that Any manifestations of violence and abuse of power by TCC representatives are unacceptable and entail strict criminal liability, regardless of position or rank.
