Road accidents can now be reported via Diia: The Cabinet of Ministers allowed to fill in the European protocol in the app
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision that allows register road accidents without victims through the Diia app“. From now on, drivers can fill in European protocol directly in digital format - no need to use a paper form.
The Government notes that a notice submitted in electronic form, has full legal force and effect and is recognised by insurance companies on a par with a traditional paper document.
How it will work
- An accident is recorded in Action with the participation of both drivers.
- Participants fill out an electronic Europrotocol, indicating the car's details, the circumstances of the incident and a photo from the scene.
- The document is automatically sent to insurance companies.
- The availability of e-licenses and technical passports in Diia simplifies the process of entering data.
