Dmitriev names three conditions for Russia to end the war
Special Representative of the President of Russia Kirill Dmitriev in an interview with the TV channel Fox News said that Moscow is ready for talks with the West and Ukraine, but only on our own terms.
According to him, key points of the Russian position include:
security guarantees for Ukraine, which Russia is ready to discuss «with the participation of international partners»;
territorial issue in regions with a «Russian-speaking population»;
Ukraine's neutral status, which, according to Dmitriev, «is the key to stability in the region».
«We are not talking about surrender or ultimatums. We are talking about finding a mutually acceptable format that will ensure the security of both Ukraine and Russia,» he said.
