A candidate for head of DEC with a background as a physical education teacher is being promoted in Dnipro

Another «staffing miracle» is being prepared in Dnipro, according to Georgiy Tuka, former Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories. According to him, the authorities are promoting the candidacy of Yevhen Sytnychenko for the post of head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration.

Tuka emphasized that the situation is «not a joke or a fiction»: the frontline region with a population of over 3.1 million people can lead former physical education teacher at a vocational school, who got into politics through the «green lift».

Who is lobbying him?

According to Tuka, the candidate is being promoted by MP Yuriy Koryavchenkov, known as «Yuzik from Kvartal 95.
According to the former official, it was he who «became famous» on scandalous tapes, where he and the security forces «solved issues» in Kryvyi Rih, ranging from controlling «order» to scrap metal.

What is wrong with Sytnychenko's candidacy

Tuka points out a number of problematic issues:

1. A sudden and unnatural career jump

The former physical education teacher suddenly turned into a..:

  • civil servant,

  • a deputy of the regional council,

  • the head of the district military administration.

He attributes the rapidity of his career not to competence but to political connections.

2. Suspicious property

Sytnychenko's declaration contains an unexpected detail:
20 hectares of land, He bought them back in 2001, when he was a student.
Tuka suggests that this could be a sign that the candidate is «pound», The latter is a technical person who registers assets for himself in the interests of others.

3. Questionable decisions during the invasion

At the outbreak of war, Sytnychenko created a military administration without a presidential decree, and a few days later, his newly appointed person seized 1200 hectares of land in the company and gave 48 hectares to a private entity.

Tuka considers these actions illegal and dangerous for the management of the frontline region.
