Earthquake felt in several regions of Ukraine

Local residents report an earthquake in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk region

In Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and in settlements of Donetsk region, residents reported that felt the earthquake. According to eyewitnesses, in the houses of houses, walls and furniture shook, The oscillations lasted several seconds.

Reports of aftershocks are being shared on social media and in local communities. Residents note that they have never experienced such sensations in these regions before.

Context.

Earthquakes are not a typical phenomenon for the central and eastern regions of Ukraine. At the same time, experts have previously noted that minor underground vibrations can be felt even at a great distance from the epicentre, in particular due to the geological features of the region.
