Contraband found at the border
Border guards in Lviv region An international drug supply channel was exposed to Ukraine. During the inspection of a car at a checkpoint «Ugryniv» law enforcement officers found hidden packages with prohibited substances in structural cavities of the vehicle.
27 kg of drugs seized
According to the investigation, the total weight of the seized items is over 27 kilograms narcotic substances, in particular:
▪️ cocaine - 6 454 г;
▪️ amphetamine - 564 г;
▪️ Alfa-PVP - 20 587 г.
The value of the seized goods on the black market is estimated at over UAH 42 million.
Courier and accomplice under arrest
The car was driven by female courier, She was detained together with her accomplice, according to the investigation, for carrying out the instructions of an international drug cartel.
Court imposed on both a measure of restraint in the form of detention without bail.
The operative and investigative actions are ongoing to establishing the entire circle of organisers and suppliers prohibited substances.
