Association of Ukrainian Cities supports Tymoshenko's draft law on VAT moratorium for private entrepreneurs
The Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC) supported the draft law of the party leader «Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna, which provides for the introduction of a moratorium on VAT for individual entrepreneurs.
This was reported by the AUC following an appeal to the President, the Government and the Verkhovna Rada.

The AUC called not to introduce 20% value added tax for individual entrepreneurs, The decision will have negative consequences for the economy of the communities.
According to the EBA, the VAT for small businesses will lead to:
shadowing of business activities;
job cuts;
Reduced revenues to local budgets;
Weakening the financial capacity of communities.

In addition, the Association of Ukrainian Cities supported the draft law of the Batkivshchyna faction« №14295, which provides for a moratorium on the introduction of any new taxes for small businesses.
The document states that it is necessary to maintain stable tax conditions for individual entrepreneurs in the face of war and economic instability.
