US lifts part of sanctions against Russia over oil
President USA Donald Trump said that Washington would temporarily lift some of the oil sanctions against Russia.
According to him, this step should help reduce global oil prices amid tensions in the global energy market.

Trump explained that sanctions could be temporarily eased to stabilise the energy market.
«We are temporarily lifting some of the oil sanctions to reduce prices,» he said.

The American president also noted that re-imposition of sanctions may not be necessary, if the market stabilises.
According to him, the US will closely monitor the dynamics of global oil prices.
