Mandatory evacuation of children announced in five settlements of Zaporizhzhia region
Ukraine has announced Mandatory evacuation of children with their parents or legal representatives from five settlements in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. This was reported by Oleksiy Kuleba, commenting on the decision of the Evacuation Coordination Centre.
Solution details
According to Kuleba, the evacuation concerns 40 children from 26 families in two communities. The following locations have already been identified for their reception and temporary accommodation Cherkasy region, where places for accommodation and assistance are prepared.
Why the evacuation was ordered
Oleksiy Kuleba stressed that the decision was difficult but necessary. In the context of constant shelling and threats to the lives of civilians evacuation remains the only responsible step to protect children.
