Russia attacks industrial facilities in Fastiv with Geranium missiles and drones«
Fastiv, Kyiv region On the night of 6 December, Russian troops launched a combined attack on the city's industrial infrastructure. The occupiers used missiles and attack drones of the «Geranium» type. This was reported by local resources and eyewitnesses from the city.
According to residents, immediately after a series of explosions, there were power outages in Fastiv. A thick column of smoke rose over the city.
Two industrial enterprises are under attack
An attack has been reported on Machine-building plant of PJSC Fakel«, where electrical equipment is manufactured. In addition, explosions were also recorded near Fastiv Plant of Electrothermal Equipment.
Official information on the extent of the damage and the number of victims is currently being updated. Rescue services are working on the ground.
Eyewitnesses tell of powerful explosions
Residents of the northern and central districts of Fastiv said that the explosions were so loud that they could be heard several kilometres away from the industrial area. According to reports on social media, some households temporarily lost power.
