Guaranteed pension of UAH 6,000: the draft law will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada
In Ukraine, it is possible to establish guaranteed pension amount of UAH 6,000. The relevant draft law is to be considered by the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by the Minister of Social Policy Denis Ulyutin.
What is proposed by the Ministry of Social Policy
According to the minister, the agency is working on a mechanism:
introduction guaranteed minimum pension;
legislative consolidation of the new level of social payments;
agreeing on the financing of changes through the state budget.
The final decision will depend on support of the parliament during the consideration of the draft law.
Current level of pensions
Currently, the average pension in Ukraine is approximately 6500 hryvnias, However, a significant number of pensioners receive smaller payments, This was the basis for the preparation of new changes.

Raising social standards remains one of the key challenges for the state in this context:
of a full-scale war;
budget deficit;
the need to support the most vulnerable categories of the population.
