Russians attack utility workers in Kherson region: one employee killed
On the afternoon of 18 November, Russian troops attacked a truck of a utility company with drones on a road in the Beryslav district of Kherson region. This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office and the head of the Alexander Prokudin.
About. 13:40 a Russian UAV attacked a government vehicle carrying employees of a utility company. As a result of the attack A 61-year-old man died on the spot.
His A 50-year-old colleague received an explosive injury and contusion. The victim was hospitalised and is being treated by doctors. The truck was heavily damaged.
Context.
Kherson region is regularly under attack by Russian troops. Utilities working to restore critical infrastructure are often targeted, despite the civilian nature of their work.
