For the first time in history: 38 thousand Ukrainians jointly purchased Sky Park shopping centre in Vinnytsia for UAH 1.5 billion
Ukrainian Investment Fund Inzhur REIT announced the completion of the acquisition of a shopping and entertainment centre Sky Park in Vinnytsia. The joint investors are 37,905 Ukrainians, This was the first time in history that an object of this scale was transferred to the ownership of tens of thousands of citizens.
The transaction amount was UAH 1.513 billion, making it one of the most expensive in a full-scale war. The company estimates that taxes from the deal alone will provide over UAH 115 million revenues to the state budget.
Affordable investments for everyone
CEO of Inzhur Andriy Zhurzhiy stressed that this case demonstrates a new model of engaging a wide range of Ukrainians in the commercial property market:
«Just a few years ago, professional investors with big cheques became co-owners of Sky Park facilities. For most Ukrainians, participation in such projects was out of reach. Thanks to the Inzhur REIT fund, investments in large commercial properties are now available to everyone - the minimum investment starts from 10 UAH».
The REIT model allows Ukrainians to invest in income property with a low entry threshold, while maintaining the dividend and corporate transparency of the fund.
