Israel launches a series of air strikes in Gaza in response to Hamas ceasefire violation
On 28 October, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of air strikes on the territory of the Gaza Strip, reports the TV channel Al Jazeera.
The Israeli Ministry of Defence said that the attacks were in response to the recent ceasefire violation by the group HAMAS.
Israel's reaction
According to Israeli sources, Strikes were directed at military facilities and weapons caches in northern and central Gaza.
«We will not allow Hamas to resume attacks or use the ceasefire as a cover for terror,» the Israeli Defence Ministry said.
