Wet snow and strong winds: bad weather paralyses traffic in Ivano-Frankivsk region
У Ivano-Frankivsk region bad weather continues to rage: strong winds and wet snow have led to traffic difficulties and numerous emergencies.
According to the information State Emergency Service of Ukraine, rescuers 27 people were dismissed, including 12 children, with 13 vehicles, The victims were taken to one of the local hospitals. All the victims were taken to one of the Points of invincibility.
The work of rescue services
During the day, the SES units worked with local fire brigades:
cut fallen trees, The roadway was blocked by the vehicles;
dismantled emergency metal structures for billboards;
towed cars, The company is also working on the road;
eliminated the consequences of road accidents.
Rescuers urge drivers to refrain from travelling unless absolutely necessary and to follow safety rules during difficult weather conditions.
