Rocket attack on a company in the suburbs of Kharkiv - fire engulfs more than 5000 sq m

In the suburbs Kharkiv Russian forces launched a missile attack on a warehouse building of a civilian enterprise. The hit caused a large-scale fire covering an area of more than 5,000 square metres.

The consequences of the attack were reported by the region's rescue services.

Significant destruction and a large fire

According to preliminary data, the building structures of the facility were heavily damaged as a result of the strike. The fire engulfed a large area of the warehouse.

Information about possible casualties has not been confirmed at this time - preliminary, there were no casualties.

Dozens of departments involved

More than 80 rescuers and about 20 units of equipment are involved in the response. State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Sappers of the State Emergency Service and firefighters of the local fire brigade of the village are also working at the site Rohan. The fire is being extinguished and the area is being inspected.

Strikes on civilian objects

Warehouses and production facilities of civilian infrastructure in the frontline regions are regularly shelled. After the attacks, rescuers not only extinguish the fire, but also check for explosives.
