Russians strike at private kindergarten in Kharkiv
On 22 October, Russian troops launched another attack on Kharkiv.
One of the rockets hit a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirsk district of the city. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov in the official Telegram channel.
«A private kindergarten in Kholodnohirsk district was hit. There are wounded children. All emergency services are working at the scene,» Terekhov said.

For preliminary information, Russians used missile weapons, probably of the “Iskander” or “S-300” type”.
As a result of the hit part of the kindergarten building was destroyed, A large-scale fire broke out.
The area of the fire was about 200 square metres.
The SES rescuers promptly evacuated the staff and children who were in the shelter.
Preliminary, several children and two adult employees of the institution were injured. They were hospitalised in a city hospital.

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov called the attack «another cynical crime against civilians». The target was a private kindergarten where toddlers were studying. Such attacks prove once again that Russia is not at war with the military, but with children.
The SES reports that The fire was contained, but rescue operations are ongoing.
The police and bomb squad are also on the scene.

Currently, all children have been evacuated from the kindergarten, the mayor said. Four people were injured, one of them is unconscious in intensive care.
