Kramatorsk under attack: Russian UAV hits 9-storey building, killing one person
In Kramatorsk, a Russian attack drone hit a nine-storey residential building, causing a large-scale fire. According to preliminary information from local authorities, the attack resulted in one person was killed.
The hit resulted in a massive explosion and fire that spread to two entrances - from the first to the eighth floors.
The work of rescuers
The fire was extinguished by the SES units. During the operation, rescuers:
five residents were rescued,
evacuated people from neighbouring apartments,
contained the fire, which threatened to spread to the upper floors.
Rescuers, police and utilities continue to work at the site.

Kramatorsk has repeatedly been the target of Russian strikes on residential infrastructure. The city is located close to the frontline and is regularly attacked by drones and missiles, endangering the lives of civilians.
