Vice Prime Minister for Recovery Oleksiy Kuleba may leave his post in the near future. According to parliamentary sources, the Verkhovna Rada may put his resignation to a vote this week.

Government officials do not comment on the situation publicly, but coalition factions confirm that «rotations in the Cabinet are being prepared».

Who can lead the recovery effort

According to the interlocutors, the following are being considered for Kuleba's replacement Oksana Markarova - former Minister of Finance and former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States.

Markarova has considerable international experience and contacts in financial institutions, which, according to the sources, «could strengthen Ukraine's negotiating power in post-war reconstruction».
