Russian media report that in the Kursk region more than 16 thousand people were left without electricity supply after a series of attacks by unknown drones on energy facilities.
The most affected are the children:
Glushkovsky district,
Ryla district,
Korenivka district.
These areas have experienced massive power cuts or complete absence of electricity.
Fire at a substation
Local authorities have announced a strike on the power substations in the city of Rylsk, where a fire broke out as a result of the attack.
The substation continues to burn, and emergency services are trying to contain the fire. The fire left part of Rylsk district without power.

This is not the first time that Kursk region has reported attacks on infrastructure by unknown drones.
In recent weeks, Russia has recorded an increase in the number of attacks on energy facilities, which has led to significant disruptions in the operation of regional networks.
