Kyiv accountant misappropriated UAH 1.5 million of school employees' salaries - Prosecutor's Office

An accountant was exposed in Kyiv, who between June 2023 and September 2025 misappropriated UAH 1.5 million, belonging to employees of Kyiv schools. This was reported by the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation established that the woman unlawfully accrued salaries, sick leave, additional payments for part-time work and programme implementation, and then indicated own bank account as a recipient of funds.
