Nighttime drone attack on Kyiv: there are dead and wounded
On the night of 26 October Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack in Kyiv.
The most affected are Desnianskyi district, where it is recorded hit a 9-storey residential building at the level of 2-3 floors.
At another address drone debris fell on a 16-storey building, causing a large fire and the destruction of several apartments.
There are dead and wounded
According to KIAA, the attack resulted in 3 people died, more 29 were injured.
Among the victims are 6 children, The youngest of them is only 4 years.
Rescuers, police, explosives experts and medics are working at the scene.
«Russia has struck again at residential areas of the capital. Children are among the wounded,» said the mayor. Vitali Klitschko.
Consequences and reactions
Rescuers extinguished fires caused by drone debris.
Several buildings lost glass, roofs, cars and power lines were partially damaged.
Residents of the area were temporarily evacuated to warming centres.
Air defence forces destroyed most of the enemy drones over the outskirts of the capital.
