DTEK implements emergency power cuts in the capital due to Russian combined attack
In Kyiv emergency power outages were applied in connection with another combined attack by Russian troops on the capital. This was reported by DTEK.
Causes of outages
The emergency restrictions were introduced for the purpose of:
protecting the power system from overloads;
stabilising the network operation after enemy attacks;
preventing large-scale accidents.

Power engineers are working to assess the consequences of the attack and restore stable power supply.
