Louvre robbery: criminals stole Napoleon's jewels but left the biggest diamond
This morning one of the most famous museums in the world - the Louvre in Paris - became the scene of a daring robbery. As reported by Le Parisien, three armed and masked criminals entered the building during repair work and nine Napoleonic jewels were stolen, The collection includes a tiara, brooch, necklace and other historical jewellery.
After the incident, the museum completely closed to visitors, and the area was cordoned off by law enforcement officers.

How the robbery took place
According to the investigation, the robbers took advantage of by freight lift, to get to the Apollo Gallery«, where jewellery is stored.
