For this purpose, Russian units:

  • intensify shelling of border communities

  • use artillery, drones and assault teams

The main goal is to Push Ukrainian forces back from the border by about 20 km.

Context.

However, the Ukrainian military emphasises that Russian forces are advancing with heavy losses, and most attempts to break through in the border areas manages to contain.

At the same time, the situation on the Sumy and Kharkiv directions remains tense due to constant shelling and subversive actions by the enemy.
