On the night of 19 March, Russian troops strike in residential areas of Odesa. According to preliminary reports, three people were injured. Numerous destructions and fires in multi-storey buildings were reported.
Damage to residential buildings
As a result of the attack, apartments on the 18th and 19th floors of the 25-storey residential building were partially destroyed. A fire broke out in the building.
Destruction and fire were also recorded in a two-storey residential building. In another residential sector, the second floor of a three-storey building was damaged - apartments and a parked car caught fire.
Casualties and evacuation
Three people were rescued from the house. SES psychologists provided assistance to 19 people, including three children.
A fire broke out on the 14th floor of a 22-storey building, evacuating 70 people. In total, more than 10 cars were damaged, and there was also damage to vehicles on the territory of the utility company.
Context.
Odesa is regularly subjected to missile and drone attacks by Russia. Residential buildings and infrastructure are destroyed as a result of the attacks.
Local authorities urge residents to follow safety rules during air raid alerts. Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the night attack.
