Russians strike at rescuers during response to attack in Dnipropetrovs'k region
Russian troops strike at rescuers during a night attack in Samarivskyi district Dnipropetrovska oblast.
This was reported in the The State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Firefighting equipment was damaged
The second strike destroyed one fire truck. Two other special vehicles were heavily damaged.
The rescuers were working at the scene of the previous attack.
Rescuers were not injured
According to the State Emergency Service, the personnel were in a safe place at the time of the strike.
Thanks to this, none of the firefighters were injured.
Context.
Russian troops regularly use the tactic of repeated attacks on the sites of attacks - the so-called «double strike» principle.
The aim of such attacks is to target rescuers, medics and other services working at the scene.
