This morning in Bucha two explosions occurred near an apartment building. Two law enforcement officers were injured in the incident and hospitalised. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Two explosions in a residential area
According to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, an unknown object exploded near an apartment building in Bucha this morning. As a result, the windows in the building were damaged.
Some time later, another explosion of an unknown device was heard nearby.
Victims and actions of the services
As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured. They were hospitalised, their condition is assessed as moderate, there is no threat to their lives. Further treatment will be outpatient.
Police, explosive experts and rescuers are working at the scene. The area is cordoned off and being checked for other explosive devices.
Recommendations for residents
The head of the JMA urged residents to be as attentive as possible. If you find suspicious or unknown objects, do not approach them or try to move them.
Such findings should be reported immediately to the police or by calling 101 or 102.
