Russian troops attack market in Druzhkivka: there are dead and wounded
Russian troops strike at the city Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, using cluster munitions on the territory of the market and dropping two aerial bombs. This was reported by the regional military administration.
According to preliminary data, the attack killed at least seven people, more eight were injured. Later, the number of injured increased to 15 people. The final data on the victims is being updated.
The scale of the destruction
It was damaged as a result of the shelling:
the city's industrial zone;
three multi-storey residential buildings;
three private houses.
Rescue services and medics continue to work at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the impact and provide assistance to the victims.

Druzhkivka remains a frontline town in Donetsk region and is regularly shelled by Russian forces. Strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential areas are recorded by international organisations as a violation of international humanitarian law.
