President instructs to strengthen preparation of hromadas for the heating season
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it was necessary to strengthen the preparation of Ukrainian cities and communities for the next heating season, especially those that did not cope effectively enough this year.
Focus on winterisation
After meeting with By Alexander Kubrakov The Head of State stressed that individual communities should draw conclusions from the current heating season.
«It is important that cities and communities that have not been effective this winter are better prepared for the next season, including Kyiv,» the President stressed.
Resilience plans for the regions
Zelenskyy noted that the key task is to systematically take into account the practical experience of hromadas this winter when planning activities for the future.
According to him, the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine plans to approve comprehensive resilience plans for all regions.
Preparedness for different scenarios
The President stressed that Ukraine should be prepared for any development in the coming winter, given the ongoing war and risks to the energy infrastructure.
