Zelenskyy: Ukraine has «cards» it has never shown before
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has new capabilities in the war that have not been demonstrated before.
«Ukraine has maps that it has not demonstrated before, and this is the result of the work of our military,» the Head of State noted.
According to him, the new opportunities are the result of the work of the Ukrainian military and defence industry.
Cooperation between Russia and Iran
Zelenskyy also emphasised that cooperation between Russia and Iran in the production of drones poses a serious threat to international security.
The President called this interaction one of the biggest global risks.
The risk of global conflict
According to Zelenskyy, the war in the Middle East could escalate into a larger conflict.
He warned that if the fighting did not stop, they might:
drag on for a long time
expand to other countries
potentially escalate into a global conflict
The world is not ready for a new great war
The President noted that the world is not yet ready for a possible World War III.
Among the reasons he named:
Rapid development of new military technologies
possible Alliances between aggressor countries
Insufficient technical readiness of the West
Disinformation and sport
Zelenskyy also said that Russia is actively using disinformation to influence international media platforms.
He also commented on the participation of Russian athletes in international competitions, noting that the admission of Russian representatives to Paralympic Games is an element of Kremlin propaganda.
