Evaluation of the negotiation process

The Russian side did not announce any specific parameters of possible arrangements or deadlines for reaching an agreement.
Context.
The statements by Russian officials came amid ongoing hostilities and international discussions on possible formats for ending the war.
Kyiv has previously stressed that any peaceful settlement should be based on territorial integrity of Ukraine, international law and security guarantees, agreed with partners.
Experts note that the parties' different approaches to peace conditions leave the negotiation process complex and lengthy.
