
Moldova halves gas transit tariff to Ukraine
Moldova has decided to reduce the tariff for natural gas transit to Ukraine by 50%, the government said.
The preferential regime will apply to during the heating season 2025-2026.
A joint initiative of five countries
The decision was the result of Coordination of natural gas transmission system operators з Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
The initiative aims to Increase the stability of gas supply in the region and help Ukraine optimise its imports in the winter.
