Moldova, together with the European Union and the United States, is developing Transnistria's reintegration plan. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Kiver after the government meeting, reports NewsMaker.

According to him, the work is already underway, but the government cannot yet disclose details due to the high sensitivity of certain aspects.

Why the details are not disclosed

Keever explained that some issues require the most careful approach:

«We are indeed actively working on a reintegration strategy or roadmap, but sensitive issues require caution. We need to think through the steps that will eventually yield results. We can't talk about all the actions in real time - it could harm the final result.».

He added that the results will be presented to the public When the time is right.

Is the strategy linked to the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia?

Asked by a journalist whether the reintegration strategy was part of possible negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, Keever replied:

• This can be seen as only in the context of regional security,

• The key aspect is Withdrawal of Russian troops from the region.

The Moldovan side does not confirm any direct links to the scenarios of the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
