
Agricultural warehouse caught fire in Mykolaiv due to Russian attack
An agricultural warehouse in Mykolaiv caught fire as a result of a Russian attack. The fire covered an area of about 500 square metres.
The fire was quickly contained
Local firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. Thanks to the firefighters' quick work, the spread of the fire was stopped and the structural elements of the building were saved.
Air testing for hazardous substances
A group of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region, which tested the air for hazardous compounds.
According to the results of the analysis no exceedances of hazardous substances were detected.
Context.
Mykolaiv is regularly subject to Russian strikes, particularly on industrial and infrastructure facilities. Warehousing and logistics facilities are often targeted due to their strategic role in supplying the region.
