NABU and SAPO conduct searches at the head of the OP Andrii Yermak's place in the government quarter
On the morning of 28 November, detectives NABU and prosecutors SAP entered the territory of the government quarter and are conducting investigative actions in the premises associated with the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. This was reported by the correspondent Ukrayinska Pravda from the scene.
The journalists recorded how the territory was entered by about 10 employees of NABU and SAPO. Comments from the anti-corruption authorities have not yet been received.
Background
On 25 November, the director of the NABU Semyon Krivonos said that the investigation into the high-profile case «Midas» on corruption in the energy sector will be expanding. According to him, we should expect new suspicions in the near future.
The Midas case concerns alleged abuses in the energy sector involving officials at various levels. A number of searches have recently been conducted and several people have been taken into custody.
