«It is impossible to protect gas production»

According to Nagornyak, Ukraine's gas infrastructure remains vulnerable, and it is almost impossible to defend against Russian strikes without an effective air defence system.

«It is unrealistic to protect gas production with anything at all. Either gas treatment or gas pumping - these are all things that cannot be covered by anything other than air defence. And it can't cope with the number of air targets flying across Ukraine,» he stressed.
